sophomore gpa

Hi! I'm a rising sophomore planning to rush in the fall and was wondering if they check your gpa with a transcript from the university. I was wondering this because I took some classes at a community college and was wondering if I need to send in those transcripts for it to be counted as my stated gpa on my application.....
