How important is rank in a frat
by: Band kidDo I need to be in a top tier frat to have fun at Berkeley. Will I still be able to meet sorority girls and attend good parties if I join a middle or bottom tier frat. I want to rush a top frat but everyone advises away from rushing sae zete and ka. What are the perks of being top tier

As someone that rushed top tier frats and mid, I can say that joining a frat where you like the brotherhood is much more important than one that is rebound only for throwing. As long as you rush a relevant frat girls from every sororities will have events with you. Also frats won't bid you if they think that you are just rushing for their party scene. My advice is try to get to know the brothers, and join depending on which house you d see yourself the best at if the social scene wasn't a factor.
