at least on the social scene, it comes down to who the “top” sororities enjoy hanging out with the most as well as how cool guys in other houses think they are. social events don’t matter as much as people think it does. you somehow managed to get 25 kappas to come to your party for 45 minutes. cool, by next week they will have forgotten about it and will probably spend every weekend for the rest of the semester upstairs hanging out with their friends in zete who aren’t throwing anything but just find them more engaging and attractive.

much of it comes down to perception from the outside. people don’t want to acknowledge it but it’s largely correlated with how tall/attractive/wealthy the guys are.

there’s some upward mobility but for the most part you’re stuck where you are sorry to tell you. phi psi and theta chi have definitely risen over the past few years but i think they’ve about maxed out. phi psi will never be unanimously better than pike and delta chi and will never be on the level of KA. theta chi will never make it into the upper mid. downvote this but you know i’m right lol

No one in top, likes the sorority of KA.
