minimum number of houses called back
by: minimumWhat is the minimum number of houses you could get called back on Sisterhood Day, Philanthropy Day, and Pref Night? Just curious since I got cut from a lot today (but still keeping an open mind and exploring my current options!)

Here’s what I’m pretty sure is true but ask your Rho Chi to confirm.
A full invitation list for Philosophy Day is 6, and for Preference, 2.
It is possible to get zero invitations and that did happen to a couple of girls last year. However it is highly unlikely to happen to you unless you seriously have a lot of work to do on your social interaction skills.
Good news is that if you receive even one bid to Pref and attend the party, you are guaranteed a bid. If you sign a bid acceptance card with Panhellenic, and then you quit the House, you cannot rush again for another year. If you are completely dropped or quit before signing a preference card, any house that needs more girls can bid you at any time. Or, you can rush again in either Spring informal when ja couple of houses will be looking for a couple of girls, or next Fall, everyone rushes again!

Short answer,,,PNMs are not guaranteed any invites back. Panhellenic tells each house how many invitations they can issue. If you are on their invitations list , you gat an invitation, if not you don’t. Only guarantee is if you have played by the rules and accepted/attended every party you were invited to , and if you are invited to at least one party on pref you get a bid. But, if you are invited to two parties and either flake on one of them or on your Panhellenic acceptance sheet you say you will only accept one of the chapters, you are NOT guaranteed a bid. Sorry you are confused. Hope it works out a way that works for you.
