which houses did you pref and which did you pick?

I prefd ddd and xo and picked xo. I agree about nice people in many houses. I seriously don't understand all this dropping because of not getting a so called top house? I can say I found six places I would have enjoyed being part of, two I wanted no part of and a couple of more where I was on the fence and would need to spend more time meeting with sisters. The process was painful and it felt like a cattle call looking for a certain type of person. Sad and outdated in my mind. I'm happy but sad about those that left.

I'd rather not mention specific houses, but I pref'd a house that's considered "top tier" & one that's considered "bottom tier". I ended up choosing the "bottom tier" house because I felt more comfortable there, and could see myself building genuine friendships with those girls. I got the feeling that the "top tier" house girls didn't truly care about each other in the same way. I wanted to join a sorority for the sisterhood more than the partying & I'm completely happy with my choice

I preffed AXO and Gphi. Both were really open and welcoming but I had better conversations with the Gphi girls. People say awful things about them on this website and it makes me sad. I'm happy though because they're all super welcoming. Social life and making friends was a big deal for me, and so far it's been great. Multiple parties a weekend, movie nights, study buddies. I already feel like I belong and that they genuinely want me as a sister. :)

So many questions about what is going on here? The stress of recruitment was unreal. I did feel multiple times that people had no interest in speaking with me. Not sure what is going on in some of the houses but I did feel strange at aphi and dg. I was dropped by both after the second event. I enjoyed meeting people at the rest of the houses and for me I loved the energy at pphi but was dropped which to me was devastating. I stayed with it and prefd sk and xo and picked sk. It was really hard to figure out what to do but it came down to the individual people I met. I enjoyed meeting the sisters at axo, theta and gphi alot too. I could tell when a house really made an effort and was sincere in meeting pnms. The first two rounds really were a challenge though as I met so many people who seemed checked out as if there was no reason to continue the process. It was strange and I thought it was just me but I spoke to people on my floor and the same comments came from a number of other people. I'm so happy with my choice!

Dropped out. Lost 7 houses quickly and just gave up hope.

This is a fantastic idea! I am texting link to this post to all my floormates and asking them to respond and asking them to send it on to their pledge classes. Its like someone pulled the curtain back on a process that was one week of pure pain and blisters! Yahoo!!!!! I lost kkg, dg day 1, piphi day 2. So, I took a deep breath and crawled into day 3. I pref'd xo and aphi. Loved them both almost equally but felt more comfy at xo. Like my class and have enjoyed every minute. Could have been happy at sk, ddd, theta, adpi too. Sharing the love!

Got link from my friend to check this all out. Not sure what I think as this whole site is highly questionable but here's what happened to me. Round 1 cut from dg and kappa, round 2 cut by xo. I preffed pphi and aphi and picked pphi which I love. It was strange but my entire floor had almost the same experience with a couple of variations and yes there were many uphappy great girls. We shared information every step of the way and traded notes on what we thought of each interaction. People on my floor generally stayed in recruitment and we now have friends in theta, axo, xo and dg on my floor which I for one think is great. It was a rollercoaster of a week for us all but we supported one another.

People seem to have mixed thoughts about this thread. I think its not here to make people feel good or bad but to see what people experienced as a pnm. Reading through the thread though I have to say it looks (at least here) that dg and kappa did an absolutely huge first cut. Not sure if this is what really happened or if it happened at other houses as well but the whole thing just looks a bit strange to me. I just went through the process this fall and no clue what to expect. I just went with it and did the best I could and I was ok with my final result (which I won't publish btw). I will say that I was dropped by dg, kkg, xo early in the game. And what a game it was....

Along the was i was dropped by xo, dg, aphi, kkg, pphi, adpi. I preffd theta and axo and went to theta. So far so good and very happy with my choice.
