SAE has experienced a series of challenges for many years, most recently resulting in being unaffiliated at UC Berkeley. Prior to the beginning of Rush fall 2023, SAE decided to party with a group of freshman and some girls, also went on a outing, and then gave bids early in Rush week and pressured recipients to decide immediately. Several of the guys shared that they felt it was manipulative. Given their ongoing challenges, we know that SAE is desperate to get new members, but their approach continues to alienate them among other frats and srats at Cal. I have posted this information previously on GR, we'll see whether it remains this time, or requires reposting.

these guys are having a difficult time. their parties this year have just been lame. lots of talk about their relationship and rudeness problems. so many issues already. seems like they are really struggling. appears their problems are their own making.
