AD is one of the most respectable fraternities at Union. They do their own thing and have great late nights at the house and have a very strong, down to earth brotherhood. I do wish they would have more open parties like frat row does.

Used to love going to AD dinner but now the school won't let them do it on thursdays and i would rather go to tdx/chipsi on weekends

AD seems to be doing well as of recently. Hard for most frats in general to have growing success as the school seems to be cracking down on parties sadly. Chill brothers and dinners are great.

AD is the chillest, most down-to-earth fraternity on campus. Their brothers are kind, lots of fun, and do a lot for the community of schenectady. Sure a lot of the brothers are not the attractive and social butterflies you see at Sig Chi, Chi Psi, and TDX, but they still dominate the middle tier of Union fraternities. AD dinner is a lot of fun too, and a real shame that our greek director had to eliminate another tradition that Greek Life holds dear.

One of my fav weekend destinations. Last spring their acclaimed "AD Dinners" started becoming much more exclusive. Nobody knows what the dinners will be like in the fall, but regardless, they are one of the most well-rounded group of guys on campus. It's a common misconception that their elite social status is dependent upon the openess of their dinners. anybody who has ever gone to AD on a weekend understands that it is one of the chilliest, most fun fraternities.

From a girl's perspective AD used to be a lot better but now that they've lost Thursday night dinners they're kind of irrelevant sadly, Its always a good spot to go late night, but never the place to be on a weekend night. I really don't see how they'll be popular without dinners :/

Whether you participate in Greek Life or are a GDI, chances are you have only good things to say about these guys. Hard to directly compare to any other fraternity, AD provides a different atmosphere than any of the other frats on campus. Regardless, these boys always have a solid and consistent social standing on campus. Wednesday- Sunday there is usually always something going on at AD. The only down side to these guys is their increase in selectivity for Thursday night dinners.
