I'm going to be a commuter in the fall. I've heard it's harder to make friends and have fun as a commuter. Is this true?

yes. I was a commuter too and didn't decide to go greek till junior year. Well worth it. I would really recommend going greek if you are a commuter. The big ones for commuters are Sigep and kappasig but banch out, I know alphasig, ZBT and sigchi also have commuters and most frats do too.
