dues

In general, what are dues like for most sororities? About how much are girls expected to pay and how often? Also, what do dues cover?

Dues vary within each chapter, but you will always pay the most your first semester in the sorority. After that, I think they range from about $400-$600 a semester. Dues include your international dues that have to be paid, money to support philanthropy events, social events, and more. It may sound like a lot, but it is well worth your money. You're not paying for friends, but for all of the great things your chapter has the capability of doing.
