Small, but value sisterhood and brotherhood more than other schools. Would recommend anyone to go through recruitment in the Spring. All greek life on campus is very involved with UNCG and value their frats and sororities more
Greek life as a whole is smaller here. And that’s okay. It gives you a chance to truly find your home and be more tight knit with your sisters or brothers. We understand Greek life isn’t for anyone. And that’s okay. Uncg has more to offer than Greek life. We have a bunch of clubs and other involvements. But if you are interested in recruitment. We are all opening and accepting, it’s not exclusive. Every sorority and fraternity does events on campus for other students to get involved!
Greek life at UNCG needs to expand, this will only happen when the school grows and possibly creates a Greek village or allows them to put letters on their houses.
I like the Greek life, but it can improve a lot.
Let fraternities and sororities put letters on their houses! If not, build a greek village!
GDI's dont respect greek life like at mainstream schools
Greek life at UNCG has been steadily increasing. Yes it has its problems but while UNCG grows so does greek life
Housing is non-existent. Uncg doesn't care about their Greek life and most of the organizations have been falling apart at their seems for years
Greek life here isn't a big deal at all. There are far more people not involved than those who are. The parties are pretty average tbh. The frat houses aren't nice at all and the sorority housing kinda sucks too. If you're looking for a true "Greek Life" experience I wouldn't recommend this school. If you prefer a smaller social scene that is more laid back then this is the place for you. Also you can't beat the cost of dues and other things, it's definitely cheaper than at other schools.
UNCG sucks and doesn't care about their Greek life. Will likely stay this way until the school gets a football team or builds a Greek village. Still better to be Greek than nothing at all.
