Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority Ratings at UCSD

They started this year w/ ~40 girls total and now have like 110 I think. The amount the chapter is growing is kind of insane. They have also been winning phils recently/ getting actually involved on campus. I actually know/ see AOII's at opens and parties, and they are really working on their sociability. Def a chiller sorority, they don't seem to care about a specific stereotype, and the sisterhood seems REALLY close. Also they got some baddies this year.

Lowk they've grown a lott recently and seem to be killing it. I met them during rush and they were super sweet. I ended up going to a different chapter but I'm happy to see they're increasing their presence on campus and are growing. they've definitely moved up

They care about sisterhood and being kind and welcoming. Idk why else u join a sorority but i rly felt i could be myself during recruitment w them!

i met some of the girls last year during our phil. they were all super sweet and genuine. i feel like they’re definitely an up and coming chapter on campus. they’ve been a lot more involved in sfl and i’ve even seen some of them at parties and they won a couple phil’s last year. i feel like they get a bad rep but i have nothing bad to say about them.

i met them at summerfest yesterday and i was a little nervous going into it because of the mixed reviews on this page. as someone going into recruitment these were my personal opinions. they are a smaller chapter but they were really interested in getting to know me which was nice. they seem genuine but if you're only looking for "frat boys" this is probably not the one for you. they seemed to have some relations with the other chapters/frats on campus but it seemed like they really liked each other which was refreshing compared to some other sororities

I LOVE AOII GIRLS! I did cob for them a while back but didn't join for personal reasons, but they were so welcoming and seemed like they genuinely wanted to get to know you. They also seemed passionate about participating in other Phils and won a couple. All around they are very good people to associate with if you are looking for closeness or a community.

They seem to be growing more of their involvement especially during phils and have a pretty good presence. Almost each aopi I've interacted with are very friendly and down to earth. Nothing bad to say about them, they just do their own thing.

I went through recruitment last year and while I didn't choose them, everyone I talked to were always friendly and steered the conversation to topics that they thought I'd be interested in. (I've had conversations in "higher tier" sororities where when they made me feel embarrassed when we didn't have much in common, then gave up and switched to talking about themselves exclusively). I think they get a bad reputation for being a mixed bag/taking anyone, but I think it's also because they try to keep it as values-based as they can (don't come for me saying everyone does values based recruitment because that's just not true unfortunately). Not for everyone if you're joining for frat bros or "reputation", but they seem to genuinely try to get to know each other.
