I would consider them a fraternity and not a "frat" like the rest of them here at UCR. The only fraternity I would consider rushing

Sigma Alpha Epsilon - ΣΑΕ Fraternity at University of California, Riverside - UCR 3.6 Too new, accepts many to become bigger. Better than DX, when comparing the two newest fraternities. Overall a good group of guys, does not live up to normal Top House SAE tradition such as chapters at UCLA or USC.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon - ΣΑΕ Fraternity at University of California, Riverside - UCR 3.2 SAE is a fairly new frat same with dx. Unlike dx they do not have the bad rep because SAE is a chill group of guys. The funny thing is they all happen to know how to skate. Some people would make a joke saying they're the skate frat. Overall, I feel that SAE is doing a really good job at rush.

Their small numbers are their only hinderence for things like sports and other events. While many say that they are the "Hipster Frat" what is really happening is that it hasn't "conformed" yet to any set idea, so the personalities vary and come off as hipsters since they boost of their pride for being individuals in their own right. Parties are pretty cool but need larger venues.
