rush

I'm out of state, and not from the south. I can get one rec letter for each sorority from someone I know. Will it hurt my chances if I don't know anybody? Should I try and network beforehand?

I rushed with absolutely no recs and i knew no one and i did extremely well when it came to getting asked back to houses. DONT STRESS

If you try to network, you might get in trouble/ get girls in trouble for dirty rushing. Honestly, just go in with an open mind, gets recs, and you'll be fine.

It's best to go in not knowing anyone and make your opinion based on your experiences in recruitment. The girls on the inside will be able to determine if you are a fit for them. Relax and let things fall where they may. Get recs for every sorority, work on great involvement and leadership in high school, and make sure your GPA is great.
