So having just gone through rush myself a little less than a year ago then spending a year in Auburn greek life this is my two sense.
About rankings: on campus it doesn't really matter there is a lot of greek love ( there are some haters but angry people with low self-esteem really don't matter so neither do their hateful comments).
I would advise you to ask girls you know at Auburn about Sororities on campus and look at what girls say here, but take it knowing its all biased. Its hard to figure out sororities in a few minutes each day when they are all putting their best foot forward so its nice to know their reps. There are a few that I liked during rush but after a year of knowing the girls and what they stand for it wasn't for me.
GET REC LETTERS
being a Legacy doesn't seal the deal
put your best foot forward
dont blab it gets back to the chapters so much faster than you think
be positive
if you haven't yet clean social media
but above all else be yourself and follow your gut
every chapter at Auburn has pretty, involved, nice, fun, social smart girls and an awesome sisterhood to offer so pick what you like and what feels like home
I know just as many girls in top tier sororities that aren't as pleased as they thought they would be as I do girls in bottom tier who are in love with their sorority
Back to rankings because as much as all Auburn sororities rock, lets be honest this does kinda matter to y'all and us too (even though it probably shouldn't)

You give some really good advice, but you also missed it on some things. DO NOT pay attention to the negative things written on this site! I have seen some of the worst things said about all of the sororities on campus. It's awful! I am a rising junior and I did NOT look at this site before my recruitment, thank goodness. I genuinely came to Auburn just hoping to get a bid. I was very prepared in terms of rec letters, etc... I loved my recruitment experience because I met the girls first before deciding where I thought I would fit. I was lucky enough to have a full invitation list every round. Looking back now I know I had a full list because I went in without wanting a particular list of sororities and did my best to enjoy everyone. I ended up in a sorority that this site says only takes in-state legacies. I am neither. My best advice is to seriously enjoy your experience and let the process work. AND remove this site from your memory from this day forward! You will be glad you did.
