lambda sigma chi

Lambda Chi is currently blowing all of the other spring classes out of the water in terms of numbers because they bidded almost all of the former Sigma Chi pledges. I know they're hurting bad for numbers and are trying to rebuild, but this is either an extremely stupid move or an extremely great one. Thoughts?

like most posts on here, those that knock other groups are trying to make themselves feel better about their own. If you are in a good group, you really don't need to "tell" everyone and bring down others.

Props to them, it's a risk no doubt, but Lambda Chi has recovered from allegations of their own so they know the drill. These kids aren't all bad and they joined a decent fraternity.

Definitely a bad move. Even if you're desperate for numbers, you still don't bid an entire pledge class from a fraternity that just got the boot. The only way this works out for Lambda Chi is if they have a soft, joke pledgeship.. which is what they'll probably do.

From a girls point of view they did a good job for spring rush. They gave bids to cool guys and they're a fun fraternity to hang out with. The ex Sigma Chi pledges are a good group of guys for the most part so don't be so bitter about not getting them for yourselves.

all i can say is i wish we had even half of that spring class for the $...we would be throwing parties every weekend/doing something huge for rush in the fall
