COB or Formal Recruitment as a Sophomore

I am considering joining Greek Life next fall but I am not sure if it is better to COB or go through formal recruitment. I have several friends already in sororities, I just wasn't sure if it was for me this year.

you could sign up for COB right now, see what happens, and if you don't get a bid before august, sign up for recruitment
