eligible to transfer even though i went inactive?

by:

I'm a currently sophomore, about to be a transfer student to AU from a division II school here in Alabama. I rushed my freshman year and joined Chi Omega. I was initiated and was active throughout the whole year, but at the end of the year, I decided to "go inactive" or "forfeit my membership" because the girls were so catty. However, on the sheet they made me fill out, I put that it was because of dues. I have been inactive for 1 year. Could I still transfer to the Auburn chapter (who I've heard great things about) since I'm technically an initiated member?

going inactive is the same as forfeiting membership, which one did you actually do?
