Omeed Nahali apparently passed away at the conclusion of last month. He was a brother of Alpha Sig and a member of the UCI Greek community.

How did he pass?

It was a suicide but a lot of the details are left ambiguous; I'm guessing his parents want it kept quiet. From what I know he was an only child as well. Very unfortunate. :(

What was the cause of suicide, he was appearantly a great student and stellar in his grades. Any ideas?

Nope. Not at all. This thread was supposed to be in memoriam if anything. I'm not Alpha Sig, but me and Omeed went to high school together and even though I wasn't very close with him, it still saddened me to hear the news.

So Sad to hear that, we were in two of same classed together and he was quiet but never showed any signs of depression. I heard he put a hose from his car's tail pipe and got suffocated in his car. Anyone knows how he passed away, wow, still in shock
