(Sorry if this is too much, but it's worth the read) I love this sorority! Everyone who is apart of it truly is one of a kind individuals. They are sweet, exotic, lovely, and super smart! Phi Mu is not just about looks (even though everyone who is in it is drop-dead gorgeous), Phi Mu has a deeper meaning and understanding of sisterhood just as any other sorority on campus does! Pan love is real love in these girls' eyes and it really means a lot to them to be apart of events on campus! While going through recruitment, I didn't want to be a Phi Mu because of a lot of these reviews, but after going through the process, I realize what an amazing group of girls this sorority has. Every sorority on Greek Row is amazing and unique in their own way! I would really wish that people would stop listening to rumors about what Phi Mu is or has done and get to know a few. These girls are truly amazing!

phi mu is full of sweet, kind, genuine, caring, smart, & loving girls! i have found forever friends in phi mu. every girl has something unique & special that she contributes to the chapter. coming out of high school i did not think i would be interested in being in a sorority, but phi mu totally changed my mind & im so thankful i joined! there are friends for everyone in phi mu & im thankful to be a part of it.

a great sorority if you want to be well-known and popular. they are working on their campus reputation. they dont live up to the horrible reviews on this site. im in another sorority at mercer and ive had classes with some mus and i honestly loved them. great group of girls and got a good and diverse pc this year

Ilove this chapter! Phi Mu was a top runner from the first night of recruitment. I had great conversations with girls who I could tell genuinely loved their chapter. All of the sororities on campus are great and you will find your place wherever you go, but Phi Mu really became a rock in my transition to Mercer. My sisters have continued to make me feel welcomed and at home. They encourage me to reach out to sisters from other chapters and pursue relationships with girls that aren’t in our sorority. Sorority life is what you make it to be. There will always be good and bad everywhere you go, just make the most of it. If you go in with the mindset that you are going to put up walls to girls on the outside, then you are going to set yourself up for a cliquey sisterhood. As with anything you do, go in with an open heart and mind, seek to love girls inside and outside of greek life, and find your niche. You can’t go wrong!

Snobby and stuck up. My friend got sucked into thinking she wanted to join because of their looks and clout. Hates it and is thinking of transferring. They’re all really mean to her, forced alcohol on her, and tell her what to wear and who to hang out with. Most of these girls think way more of themselves than any one else ever could.

Literally some of the nicest girls I’ve ever met! Phi Mus tend to be the popular cheerleader types but if you can get past that they are actually very real and authentic!

Not that nice to anyone outside of their little clique. Very enamored with money and obsessed with looks. Even their own sisters will tell you this to be true if they are being honest. Pretend to be classy but are actually the opposite

I’m a member of this sorority, but I wish I wasn’t. As a Phi (new member) my big and other older sisters forced me to drink and would drag me downtown and then just leave me there. There’s no sisterhood and no one comes to our events. Phi Mus put on a good facade during rush but DON’T buy into it

I’m sorry you feel this way! As from someone who is involved in Phi Mu’s intramural teams, I can say that our sisterhood has been quick to come watch and cheer us on while we play. Most girls are eager to support you in any way they can as long as you reach out. In any other area, our sisters have been quick to pick me up when something is wrong. With a group this big, you need to reach out and talk to people or they won’t know what’s going on. Again, I’m sorry that you felt you couldn’t come to us about this.

This isn’t true hahaha. Mercer is a dry campus and the sororities are on 3 B’s until initiation. Go write fake reviews elsewhere

As a member of a fraternity here on campus, I can honestly say phi mu is the best. These negative comments are most likely being made by the other sororities because they are jealous. Phi Mu is popular, has the best GPA, consistently raises the most money for their philanthropy, and basically runs the fraternity sweetheart business. These girls live up to their hype. Love being around them on campus and having them at our parties.
