bids
by: pnmHow hard is it to get a bid at APhi or SK as a sophomore, junior, or transfer? Or any of the other groups but those are the two I'm most interested in.

you need to reevaluate your life if you will only go greek if you get alpha phi or sigma kappa.... everyone that is actually in greek life knows that those two are worst to actually be in (in regards to sisterhood/drama and stuff).
You shouldn't go somewhere just because they are the most popular, you should go somewhere because of the friends you can make there.
Oh and those chapters usually don't take non-freshmen just fyizzle.
#2by: above is wrong (mostly)
they both do in fact take sophs and juniors all the time. especially during the smaller rush in the fall.
I agree you shouldnt choose to be in a sorority just based on popularity but the above person is so so so wrong about SK and Aphi being the worst. Its people like them ^ that give greek like a bad name. every chapter is different for different reasons. And every chapter has an amazing sisterhood (not to mention philanthropies- alzheimers research and cardiac care are so so important). If they didnt, their chapters would fall apart!
Dont listen to the hype- good or bad. All that stuff is usually based on someones interaction with only one person in that chapter and then they generalize based on one experience.

Every chapter is worthwhile joining on this campus. Maybe you belong in Aphi or SK or maybe you'll discover another chapter that fits who you are.
I agree with comment that you should go somewhere where you can make friends but maybe Aphi and SK are those places. Or maybe it's not... just be open minded.
Ignore Frat Jesus he has no idea what he's talking about.
