I went through formal recruitment last year and didn't get asked to join anywhere, and tried informal and didn't get in where I wanted. Should I try again for formal??

If you didn't get asked to join anywhere last year, it would be even harder this year. Sororities like taking freshmen (and some sophomores) because they can contribute to the chapter longer. Maybe this just isn't your thing :/
