Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority Ratings at MU

I'm rushing this winter and I cannot wait. I went to high school with a current Sigma Kappa at Marquette and I am excited to get to know some of the other girls in this chapter. I have only heard awesome things about her experience. She seems to be having a blast and really enjoys spending time with her sisters. Looking forward to rushing and getting to know all the chapters, especially Sigma Kappa.

One of my close friends is a Sigma Kappa and all she does is complain about the girls, a lot of them are really fake and think that the whole world revolves around being in greek life. There are a handful of girls who are super down to earth and nice but a majority of them barely even know one another. Some of the girls go too crazy one the weekends, which reflects poorly on their chapter in as a whole. Freshman love this chapter but from what I've heard it is not what it's cracked up to be.

I have to say that these girls are some of the fakest people I have ever met. There are some nice ones in the chapter, but it's apparent that the girls in this chapter care more about making themselves look good than fostering a genuine sisterhood. I have friends in this chapter who have told me about the point system that the members must follow in order to go to big events such as formal. Greek unity should be voluntary, not forced like it is in Sigma Kappa.

S/o to the person who did 8 ranks in the same day. lol. SK is ok, definitely falling this year. They have some great girls but some really sloppy ones that make them all look bad which sucks. New house should be cool. I'm not Greek but I'm going to rush in January, this semester has definitely shifted my opinion on this house! Whip it into shape ladies!

As a freshman on campus interested in rushing next semester I think Sigma Kappa is by far the best sorority on campus. After going to Ofest and house tours I can honestly say they are the most genuine girls I have ever met! Even after talking to them for five minutes they made me feel so welcomed. They have their values in place which I really like. They really focused on the good they do instead of bringing down other chapters which I noticed other sororities doing.

These girls are by far some of the hottest on campus. They seem pretty close but dont like to include anyone else. They are the most popular on campus and love to party. I have fun with these girls every weekend. If you're looking for nice girls dont choose this one. If you're looking for party girls you're at the right place.

As a sophomore I've met a lot of girls from all the sororities on campus, but I have to say that the girls I've met in Sigma Kappa are hands-down the nicest, classiest, and funniest people to be around! They're all so genuine and down to earth. I know lots of them are in very difficult majors, which is impressive since they also have the highest GPA on campus! I didn't rush freshman year but I'm considering it now - if I do, SK will definitely be my top choice! Congrats on being awesome, ladies!

I just transferred to Marquette and I can say I'm so excited to join a sorority after talking to some of the girls in Sigma kappa. They are so genuine and really have helped me with at Marquette since I have transferred. I would honestly be so proud if I could one day call myself a Sigma Kappa. You ladies are incredible and go above and beyond as sisters.

I met a few of the sophomores once, and they were so nice and outgoing when we were chatting. When I asked about the other sororities on campus, I was surprised they didn't bash them to make themselves look better. It says a lot about their character in my book. I could definitely see myself being part of this sorority, and I am SO excited to rush
