Just a surface level sisterhood. Their social media makes them seem like something they're not. None of them are close they just want to make it seem that way.

My roommate got into AXO this year and never once did she say she wanted Kappa Delta? A majority of their newest member class obviously would've gone AXO or KD and they went AXO for a reason. THE REASON people THINK AXO and KD have issues is because of stupid websites like this. Petty girls come on here and write false information and cause drama. They're both great groups of women. They just have personalities. One isn't better than the other. Get over your damn selves

Just throwing out the fact that the reason AXO and KD don't get along is because 90% of the girls that ended up going AXO originally wanted KD but didn't end up getting a bid

AXO is extremely fake in everything they do. My friend joined only to find out that from the outside things seem amazing but once your in it becomes clear that it was all a front. They only demonstrate "sisterhood" when PNMs are watching. Plain and simple; no matter how genuine they seem to be, they're the farthest thing from genuine

Hi there, Keep in mind that this is your friend's experience, not yours. She also just joined. As with any new thing in life, it takes time to adjust. Of course with recruitment the best side of any sorority is shown- same with college recruiting, same with job recruiting. Be a good friend and encourage her to make the best of it- if she can't stand it then tell her to resign prior to being initiated. I personally can thank Alpha Chi Omega for making me the woman I am today. The leadership opportunities I gained really prepared me for the "adult world." I keep in touch with a few sisters, but I can tell you the real life experiences I gained are what have shaped my view of the world- along with working with victims of domestic violence. Please remind your friend that a sorority is what you make of it, but as for Lynchburg College, Alpha Chi Omega is the best out there. If she dedicates herself and has a positive outlook, I promise she will feel more at home and learn many life lessons along the way. I spent four years of my life serving the Iota Omicron chapter of Alpha Chi Omega and I can promise you it has benefited me immensely as a woman and professional. We live and we learn. Sincerely, A recent alumna that wanted to give you a different perspective

I have heard the same thing from a good amount of their new members. Not always what it seems to be.

When I went through recruitment their conversations were scripted. I had multiple girls say the exact same sentence to me word for word. The first time I heard it I thought it was so personal and nice, but when someone else said the exact same thing I knew their recruiting process was all smoke and mirrors.
