advice?

by: Guest

I'm currently a junior and I've been in my chapter since I was a freshman. I really enjoyed it the first two years, but after being away from a summer and coming back I started to feel disconnected from my chapter. I started being more involved with friends outside greek life, school, and work. I still like my chapter, but I feel more disconnected from it now than ever. I feel like so many things are getting old (for example, socials). Is this normal or does any one else feel this way? I'm not really sure what to do from here because I don't really want to drop after investing 2 and a half years, but I also don't enjoy it as much as I used to.

If you drop you'll regret it later. You aren't forced to hang out with your chapter all the time. Just hang half with sorority friend and half without, you have plenty of time to do both. If you drop then there's no going back.

This is totally normal! It just means you're getting older. Stay in your chapter for the sisterhood and maybe get an officer position and try to be involved in other ways. Networking will pay off in the end when your graduate. Everyone goes through a rough patch
