We come to college not only for education, but to prepare us to go out into the real world as independent adults. College allows us to find ourselves and experience new things, to make relationships that will last a lifetime. It is so much more than to simply receive and education. What a shallow perspective @umm.

Wow people...
Spring is nice because your weekends are actually free for mainly the entire semester, so if you want to take weekend trips with friends or do nothing for two days straight or go out on a friday night without being worried about being hungover at a 9am tailgate, you can! There are still sporting events: basketball, baseball, gymnastics to name a few.
As for socially, usually my sorority has more socials in the spring than in the fall because we aren't paired with a fraternity every weekend anymore. In the fall we usually have 1-2 a month as well as a date function or so every month, but in the spring we have something almost every week!
