spring rush
by: SororityIf you were released from recruitment in the fall, what are the odds of getting a bid in the spring? Meaning, like do the girls in the houses know that you were released? And if so, does it make you a less appealing PNM? Or what could you say to hide the fact that you were released in the fall?kyb

This comes up every year, so trust me when I say you're not the first to be concerned.
My first Gil was a spring PC and had previously been released from recruitment. There are plenty of women who are released but get a bud later on through going through again. Spring is better for some women just due to the more relaxed planning and such of it.
Now, this doesn't mean you should think it's easier to get a bid. Houses who participate are looking to full spots of women who graduated in Dec, transfered, or withdrew during the school year. They want high quality women who will shine with there personality. So, be on point!

Thank you so much! I honestly think I just slipped through the cracks during rush and got unlucky. Do you have any advice for spring rush? Like will I have to talk about being released during recruitment?
