not sure about the sorority i joined...

I joined a sorority but I had a really difficult time deciding what to put first on pref night and now i think i made a huge mistake. How difficult/awkward is it to drop and then rerush next fall? I can't decide if i even would rush again but I'm just wondering if that would be an easy possibility.

i say drop. i joined a sorority, was initiated and then dropped. now I am stuck without being able to join another house. i just read these postings because i am sad my story did not go well.

It's not difficult or awkward! The girls genuinely want you to be happy and understand the importance of being where you belong. Don't stick it out if it's not right for you. Try to give it a chance though!

What about the fact that We have to sign a contract saying we will pay for the year even if we drop?

That's what happens when you listen to the myth of "tiers." As we all know now, thanks to me, there are no "tiers." UF does not recognize any. UF Panhellenic does not recognize any. No Greek authority recognizes any. Yes, that's right, "tiers" are mere online postings. Yes, "tiers" are simply made up by biased (very biased) sorority girls and frat boys and posted online. That's it! Utterly meaningless! LOL
