Preferred sorority as pnm

by: Ady

What are some tips to rushing adpi. I know you are supposed to be open to all sororities but I feel like adpi aligns best with my values but sadly it is super selective. Any tips from a UF adpi or anyone would be greatly appreciated

There are no tips to tell you what to say or do or how to look for any specific sorority, other than telling you that if you try to be something you're not because you think that's what they are looking for it WILL be obvious and go badly. Just like at every sorority it all depends on how you vibe with the members you happen to talk to and how well your conversations go. Conversations need to be easy and natural and give a glimpse of your personality. Don't fake it and you'll do a lot better. Best of luck to you at all the houses, but keep in mind that your ranks don't get you invited anywhere, no matter how high you rank any chapter because they don't see those ever, and you may not even get the chance to visit adpi in person.

Please, please, please don’t decide on one sorority before recruitment has begun. It rarely ends well. Each sorority can align with your values- they all express values of service, scholarship, sisterhood, among other admirable attributes.

If you know members in adpi that helps the most to get a bid

Don’t set yourself up for disappointment. They will drop most girls going thru because rules say that the most sought after houses have to drop the most. As others said, go in with an open mind and don’t fixate on top tier!
