when do people live in srat houses

depends on the chapter tbh. some houses it's mostly sophomores, others it's mostly upperclassmen, others more of a mix.

Not everyone gets to live in at every chapter. Exec is required to, then some chapters determine the rest by seniority, either by holding a secondary office or by year in school or by GPA, and last is the previous year's new member class going by a similar system. Some chapters require the previous year's nm class to live in. It all depends on the chapter rules and their live-in capacity. Every chapter house must operate at live-in capacity for financial reasons, but living in is usually a pretty good deal.
