Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 3.9 their pledge classes are definitely getting better (and hotter), they’re nice and seem to be participating in campus stuff often. hope they keep getting better

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 2.2 As someone who is an AST alumni… do not join this sorority unless you want to come second to frat boys bc they are pick mes to the fullest. Yea some girls were pretty sweet but the ones who aren't are AWFUL. A girl posted a threat to fight me at chapter and e-board did nothing about it lol. So many group chats had to get deleted. They have bad relationships w frats. EVERYONE talks crap about each other within the org its really embarrassing. Theres so much more but just trying to save some girls that are on the fence during rush week. Trust your gut… not the process… If i could give my AST experience a rating it would be 0/10.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 3.4 I think a lot of the hate on here is unnecessary. AST is pretty mid, I’ll admit that, but they’re not near as awful as people make them out to be. I’ve met some sisters who are genuinely so kind and fun. And a lot of the cliquey or “bad” ones have now graduated, and in addition to that their pledge classes keep getting better. I think if they put in more effort they could be better. The org has had a LOT of issues in the past which is a shame. I really do wish they were better cuz I like their philanthropy and there’s some girls in it who are great.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 2.9 AST is solidly bottom/mid tier. They seem to be aware of this and want to rise to the top. That’s all fine, but they seem to sacrifice sisterhood for relationships with frats. If you want a good sisterhood I do NOT recommend this sorority. They’ll happily mix with orgs who have hurt their members so long as the org is top tier and a mixer with them will help AST to rise to the top. Honestly there’s so much drama in this org and they’re not very well-aligned with their national values. Not to say they’re completely awful but you can definitely do better. Overall, I wish I could recommend them but I honestly cant.

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 4.0 AST is still the newest sorority on campus, which means they’re still growing/improving/findi ng their place. But honestly I’m very impressed with them especially their latest pledge class. I can really see their sisterhood and social life getting better and they’re getting more involved in Greek life / on campus. I’ve always had fun at their events and their recruitment themes have always been so cute!

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 3.0 They're doing better these days and I'm happy for them. The thing that killed AST in the beginning is because they were newer, their nationals were too involved & they had to give bids to losers and head cases that were too much of a liability for other sororities - to match the other orgs numbers. That and having nationals that aren't from rowan (and the weird girls from their colleges tbh) just made it hard for them on top of being a smaller national org. Sure they're still making up for those issues but I'm glad that they aren't trying as hard to be on top and just doing them

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 3.7 Genuinely keep getting better and better. AST is still a somewhat new sorority. Seeing them improve over my years at Rowan has really made me happy. Who cares if they’re top tier or not? Those who like them tend to really like them and that’s all that matters

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Rowan University - RU 1.0 Literally can say that AST gave me PTSD and was probably the worst part of my college experience. The president ratted, and then everyone turned on each other. Literally everyone was so incredibly rude to each other. One of the girls intentionally took pictures to get another girl kicked out. There is no sisterhood. I left because I wanted sisterhood not girls who want me around simply because i’m a number and I was paying dues.
