Grades for recruitment

If you’re going through recruitment it’s best to have a 2.75 and above. A 3.2 is perfectly fine as long as you’re above that 2.75.

I went through recruitment this past fall with a 2.6 and was dropped the day before pref so you should totally be fine

"Going for" one particular sorority is discouraged. Your GPA dilemma is one sign of that. The GPA necessary to participate in recruitment is usually a lower GPA than some of our chapters require of their new members. Your overall impression made toward any chapter will get you higher on their bid list than a simple GPA number. Open your heart to the sorority experience, without looking at barriers you may have to overcome to get into THE PERFECT CHAPTER, and you might end up in a chapter more suited to your tastes.
