no bid

I went through Fall recruitment this year. My GPA was 4.0. I was very active in high school and held leadership positions. I was released bid day. I was down to two houses that day, Theta and Alpha Chi Omega. I would have been thrilled with a bid from either. I had friends in both.
Without being hateful, could anyone provide some insight as to why I didn't receive a bid?

On preference/bid day most of it comes down to numbers unfortunately and probably wasn't you. If you felt that you really connected with girls in those houses I would recommend doing COB in the spring. Not every house participates in COB but it's a much more laid back version of recruitment and the numbers deal isn't a big concern for COB
