The administration is the reason why Greek life has become average at this school. What a shame.

RPI is a predominantly male school. Some of our fraternities and sororities are apart of large national organizations yet consistently win national awards. On the other hand, there are some pretty messed up groups. RPI has been cracking down hard on Greek Life so membership has declined recently as well as the social scene, which went from very strong to pretty much nonexistent if you do not join a Greek organization.

The school highly restricts any Greek involvement on campus overall. Its very hard to try and build a reputation when the school puts on so many regulations. Feels like jumping through hoops.
