Sigma Alpha Epsilon - ΣΑΕ Fraternity at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - RPI 4.8 Best fraternity on campus. Know how to throw down but also when to set boundaries. Have a high regard for the safety of their guests. Just wish they would throw crazier parties, sometimes they seem too chill for a frat party. Great group of guys though, attractive guys. And, if you're lucky enough as a female to get invited to one of their formals, they are spectacular and classy as ever.

Best fraternity on campus. Know how to throw down but also when to set boundaries. Have a high regard for the safety of their guests. Just wish they would throw crazier parties, sometimes they seem too chill for a frat party. Great group of guys though, attractive guys. And, if you're lucky enough as a female to get invited to one of their formals, they are spectacular and classy as ever.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon - ΣΑΕ Fraternity at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - RPI 2.8 SAE has a reputation of being kinda douchey. They throw parties often. I've only been to one of their mixers so on one hand I can't comment on their parties, but on the other hand the reason I haven't returned is because of how awful that mixer was. There were a bunch of games, cool idea, but you had to go to your assigned game at the assigned time and they cared way too much about keeping it organized. If I'm at a party I'm trying to relax and have fun, not have weird rules about what I do...

Sigma Alpha Epsilon - ΣΑΕ Fraternity at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - RPI 2.8 At first glance, SAE at RPI seems like one of the ideal fraternities - large numbers, good campus involvement, just the right number of parties, a nice house... but once you start digging below the surface, you start to find the problems. I've seen brothers in many fraternities here interact with each other, other fraternities, and the independent population, and I must say that SAE has some of the most cliquiest and rude brothers. Their reputation from other fraternities is poor (put nicely).
