i want to rush in the fall as a sophomore for a sorority but i really only have one house in mind. all of my friends in greek life are in this sorority, and i know a bunch of other people in it. does that give me any kind of an advantage? what are the odds i'd get into my top ranked one?

Depends on how good they are on campus.

just do not listen to reputations and you will end up where you belong and be yourself the whole way through recruitment.
