I believe, a snap bid is a bid to a woman because the chapter did not fill quota. Women who receive snap bids are usually given a phone call from the specific chapter, on bid day, asking if they would like to join. To receive a snap bid the woman must have attended one round of recruitment at that house and dropped recruitment entirely or was dropped from the system.

COB i believe is any type of recruitment beyond formal recruitment, also to meet quota but more so is people drop after bid day or don't pledge. \n\n\n\n\n

The time for snap bids ended after formal bid day. At this point, there are COBs only, aka informal spring recruitment.
