If you get a bid, can a fraternity ever take that away from you? What houses does it happen at?

While they typically can't take it away, they can terminate you during your pledge period.

I know lambda chi does. They did it to my one friend. He went to Newark campus and claimed it was because of that reason, when there is no rule stating that regional campus students can't rush.

Yes. The fraternity can do whatever they want and there are not rules against it. Its a really douchey move and most will let the guy stick around though and hope he drops or drop him a week in, that way its not such a big slap in the face.

And yes, you can join if you go to regional campuses, im surprised lambda chi would do that though since they need numbers.
