bottom tier houses
by: PNMI feel like every PNM gets bashed on here for not wanting a lower tier house, but I have a question. I am trying to stay open to all houses but people say on here that the lower houses don't have a social life. Well, I do want a strong sisterhood but I also am going greek because I do want an active social life as well, which seems to be frowned upon on here whenever a PNM says that. So do the lower tier houses have social schedules--just not with "top" frats? Or do they literally not do anything social at all?

I don't understand why people hate on PNMs for wanting a chapter that's actually fun. I remember being a PNM and asking this same question and getting answers like "there is more to greek life than parties so just don't join." So I understand where you are coming from. That said, all houses have social events..it's more about the frats who you will be doing the events with..which if this site didn't exist that wouldn't be a big deal anyway. But as a girl you will be able to go to any party you want anyway so it's not a big deal

My house has at least 1-2 events per week (pregames TGs). Mostly with upper mid to bottom tier frats, occasionally with a top tier but not usually. We had a middle tier block partner and could also go to other blocks. However most Thursday pregames are open so if you have friends in tops you can go anyways. Bottom line is you will still have enough socials and can party with your sisters outside of Greek life events

Every sorority does socials. They might not talk about the alcohol involved ones, but rather the sober socials. But yes, everyone does stuff just as much as everyone else, unless they are under a probation(which they keep secret)
