by: PnmAnyone else thinking about giving it a shot because formal did not work out how you wanted it to? I got cut by my favorites for my grades

How tough the classes are doesn't make any difference. Most sorority nationals set their minimum GPA to get initiated and then OSU decides if they want to set a tougher minimum. Even though Theta's nationals don't set a minimum GPA, you won't get in with less than a 3.0.

Like the person said before, you might not get a bid from them because of gpa. Most sororities don't care about the level of difficulty the class was, because guess what, they all took the same classes. There might be more to why your grades weren't the best, but like i said, they all probably had a similar situations. Zeta is probably going to try an recruit strong, so you might be on the lower side of things. Stick it out. If at the end of pref round you still don't want the houses that were gracious enough to bring you back, then try zeta. I only had 4 sororities bring me back first round and I recruited during when gphi was new.

With Zeta we will be able to have 1 on 1 interviews so unlike with the chapters I will be able to tell them that my GPA was so low because of a class I took which I am retaking this semester to replace the old grade.
