frat rush questions
by: MikeyI'm a pretty quiet and introverted guy, and don't know what I should do about rush. I know absolutely nothing about the fraternities here. Is it too late to start looking at houses and rushing right now? Are there any that are known for being especially douchey that I should avoid?

Its too late for more of the competitve ones especially if you are very introverted. Just browse the "middle tier" or "bottom tier" ones and see what you like. If you want a big fraternity, some good options for you to consider are Sig Ep, ATO, Pike and Fiji. If you want a small fraternity, I hear sigma pi and chi phi are new and are decent small ones. If you go to the rest of the events you have a good chance of getting a bid at one. Look on their facebook/twitter accounts to find the rush schedules. good luck!
