missing frat events

Looking to rush in the spring, but will have to miss the first 2 events of some of my top choices due to a family emergency. Obviously I'm expecting people to understand, but realistically will I be at a disadvantage? Would it be a better idea to just rush in the fall instead?

Just text the social chair and let him know. If they know you're interested and show up to the rest of the events you will be fine

if it makes any difference I was thinking about rushing Phi Delt, SAE, Delt, and ATO

SAE and Delt will be more competitive. In ur circumstance if u do not have connections I would focus on the other two

lol they all suck besides Delt youlll be fine. only worry about missing the first few rush events for phi psi, tke, k sig, tke, and delt

Getting a bid is easy anywhere if you're chill and decent looking. This isn't a school where it's hard to get a bid lol... All the top 5+ frats here all have a few complete loser members tbh. Don't sweat it

if you miss the first 2 weeks of rush pretty much any decent frat will already be starting their pledge process. Its better to wait until Fall and rush the chapter you actually want to join than to join one earlier that will bid you late.

This will be an issue for Delt.

Pike, phi delt, sae, etc. don't care, as they arent competitive.

The top 5 houses on campus, which includes delt, are tough.
