The truth about greek life and being top
by: TruthWe’re not like Bama, Indiana, Arizona, or Florida where they have 10+ actual top frats that are actually competing to see who’s the best and have insane budgets and parties with live DJs 24/7 to keep competing. We have three top frats (that some can argue are still underperforming) and then it just drops from there. So these arguments about PiKapp and ATO v KSig and KA are actually just who’s more mid because it’s not like they actually doing what other frats across the nation are doing. Despite how many chapters we have, we are in the bottom half of greek life nationwide because we got lazy.

The only thing we do is block and the entire school does that not just greek life.
Take notes from
Alabama and Ole Miss (insane darties and mixers and numerous events that are only tailored for frats like Undertakers, Desperado, Shipwreck, 15+ more)
Indiana and Penn State (Crazy budgets and also doing something crazy and going all out for themes)
Texas and TAMU (West Fest, Chili Fest, Insane budgets)
and Arizona, ASU, USC, Florida, SMU, FSU

Last thing on this but just doing stand around annex darties or tent parties, occasional date parties, and a mixer or pair based of some tiktok is all we do here and it’s repetitive. Nothing is creative, insane, out of the box, authentic, or just anything to brag out to other schools. One frat needs to change that and set the standard.

The only frats that have the space to do that are ATO, KSig, and TKE but they all have so limitations whether it be the university or nationals that just makes us be a below average greek life school. APES could do it if they had the space which is why I think KSig should vouch to permanently off campus supported by nationals so they can do it.

exactly. ksig, phi psi, and sammy were all literally near this point and had the perfect houses and annexes and social creativity for it. then the university took it all away.
