What is the point of IFC

by:

We should gather all the fraternities up and abolish IFC. All they do is snitch and act all power hungry to fulfill their weird ass fetish. I wish IFC would actually do their job and protect us instead of destroying Greek life

no ifc = no national support = no money
if you want no ifc prepare for ur dues to be 10 times more. or you can start non greek orgs like a lot of colleges do but ppl are obsessed with the label.

Nah ifc doesn’t give us any money or funding. In fact they cost us per member.

Literally all of them, they wouldn’t have event limits and can do what they want, the most ideal situation is being off campus but having nationals support

It worked at Buffalo, all the frats left at once and all kept National backing

I get the whole freedom thing but not to be a boot licker but IFC is the thing stopping us from getting arrested. If frats get in trouble with police (which happens multiple times a year) then they just rely on IFC for correction and accountability. If there is no IFC, then it straight to police’s authority. Look at how many guys have been to jail in KSig and KA/Old Phi Psi since they got kicked off and still running things.

this is like asking why we need a government when citizens can just run around in anarchy.

except the government is the school/ifc and citizens are frat boys who have already stabbed, shot, branded, hospitalized, fought, etc each other.
