You’ll definitely see girls each year who go into recruitment being vocal to their friends about wanting a “top house.” What isn’t allowed is for an active member of a house to promise a bid to one of those girls. The lines can be a bit blurred though if a pnm is already friends with an active and then makes assumptions that they will receive a bid
