Tips on rushing?

I'm planning on rushing this fall, aiming for the bigger houses. any advice or tips?

p.s my GPA is kinda bad, but it's improving.

As long as you have above a 2.5 I believe you’re able to rush. Even if it’s below that most houses will give you dirty bids if they think you’re a good fit

Make sure you can give top tier head - it’s an essential part of the rushing process for fraternities like Delt.

You won’t get a bid at any “top tier” fraternity unless you know someone in it (this is just for liability’s sake). Recommend rushing around at more “mid tier” places like pikapp, theta chi, ato, etc.

You can get a bid at basically any of the on campus frats without knowing people. The point of rush is for them to get to know you, and for you to get to know them. Even though it helps to know people, don’t think you can’t get a bid if you don’t know anyone

Not true at all, if you rush and connect with the brothers you can get a bid anywhere. Just be able to hold a conversation without being weird and if you are a good and fun guy you should be set at a lot of places.
