Sorority Rank/Types

At OSU you have four types of houses-
Tops- houses that are clearly the elite. They have been for decades and barring a suspension will be forever.
Aphi, Pi Phi, Delta Gamma
Almost Tops- not quite the elite, but could be if things fall right
Theta, KD
Mid but Wish There Were Top- kind of jealous of the tops, makes noise like they think they should be top, but they aren't and everyone knows it. Even they know it but they still pretend.
KKG, TriDelt, Fuzzy
Mids- good solid sororities that know they arent top, dont pretend to be top, and aren't hung up on the rankings.
ChiO, Zeta, AGD, AXO, DZ, Gamma, AEPi
There is no bottom tier. None of these houses struggle for members. All have solid backing, strong sisterhood, good social calendars, and a lot of fun. Drop the idea that there are loser sororities. Any girl that joins any of these houses is going to have a great time.

None of our frats were actually good last year and the quality is only dropping. Imagine going to a southern school and showing them our top frats.

Look at the “worst” sorority at Bama or SMU and you’d think you were looking at pi phi OSu.

Aphi only became top one decade ago. Before that they were mid and are probably heading back there in the future. All the suspensions for DG, Theta, and Kappa at the time are what helped them get on top and now that those are fully back Aphi is dropping in quality. Even the older aphi girls acknowledge this. Newer pledge classes are subpar while the old tops are improving.

This is not true like at all. OSU has the smallest percentage of Greek life for such a large school. Nobody cares about Greek life besides people in Greek life lmao. There’s a whole set of about 30,000 geed hoes that do not blink an eye at osu Greek life
