formal sorority recruitment

Hi! I'm a sophomore transfer student. I'm thinking i'm going to go through formal to see ore of the different houses. I'm wondering if it's harder to get a bid from a house/a house you really want due to being a sophomore and possibly not knowing anyone in the houses?
