big 4

by: wondering

Now that Sigma Chi is tiny and Sammy is gone, will anyone replace them in the big 4 with TKE and Phi Psi? Who would be most likely? After all, the top sororities are going to have to hang out with someone.

Delt will probably rise to the top, not sure who the 4th one will be (or if there will be a 4th one at all). I'm pretty sure the top sororities are capable of hanging out with middle tier fraternities too. Trust me, we'll be okay without Sammy or Sig Chi.

My guess is that by the end of this year Delt will move to the top tier, they recruited well all last year and have been very socially active. Look for Sig chi to jump back up too (maybe not top tier) after a full year of recruitment as well. Look for ATO to move downward and be on par with Pike and SAE as legit middle-tier.

I agree that Delt will likely move up, as they've been doing for the past year. I don't see Sigma Chi regaining its top spot after losing so many members, but it could move back to the middle tier and maybe more after a couple years if it can recruit well. If there even is someone to take the 4th of the big 4 spots (we may see just a big 3), my guess would be Phi Delt (taking on a role similar to what Sammy was), with Pike as a dark-horse, although in a completely different role.
