recommendations for a freshman

Hi all,
Anyone know when recs would be needed for rush this coming year? My neighbor across the street has a daughter who will be an incoming freshman and is interested in rushing. Have never done one for OSU before... Are they needed? Since it's spring rush, what, sometime in the late fall? Not even sure if she'd be interested in my house, but who knows! Thanks!

Recs aren’t really necessary for osu, but if you’d like to send one in I believe around winter break is when most people send them. It won’t hurt to write a rec but rush at osu is no where near as competitive as other schools so she shouldn’t worry!
