zeta or kappa??
by: NameWhat r we feeling with these. Did gamma phi get a lot of hate when they came on campus and slowly ppl started to like them.. will kappa get as much hate as zeta? I know a lot of people where happy they were gone! And will zeta rise or fall? Personally I think they'll rise but really with kappa coming back who knows anymore!!

Zeta will suffer. Even tho,people,hated Kappa they were the 'top' house - hot rich and wild. Their rep will help boost them. Zeta was the bottom house for years and that's not helped them. Any quality girls who wanted something different than the established ones are going to go Kappa. We have too many sororities here, not enough good girls to go around.

Lot of girls in sororities hate kappa also most girls going through rush at ohio have no idea what old reps of sororities are so they won't care. Most don't want to go to an unestablished sorority without a house which is why zeta will fall until their house will be built. That being said girls who truly want to be in a sorority and got cut out of the system or by sororities they like would go kappa just to be in one/ being able to say they are a founding member. (If kappas new pledge class is considered a founding member)

Gphi didn't get as much hate because they never tried to claim to be top instantly. They accepted being bottom and focused on themselves and their sisterhood which is why they were more successful. ZTA will stay low. Kappa will start mid but I imagine dropping lower.

The type of girls Kappa will get is this: Girls who could not get a bid from Dg, pi phi, aphi, Kd, tridelt, chio, theta, or axid. Girls get angry if they can't get into the better houses so they think their best option is to join the new sorority. Then they pretend they're top (like zeta does) even though in reality its a house full of girls that couldn't get bids from one of those houses.

They won't be exactly like before but they will start better off than any other recent 'new' sorority. The Kappa brand is strong - and people will recall their prior dominance. Their alumni are super motivated and their nationals are in Columbus, They are going to be a major threat to, if not DG and Pi Phi right away, then for sure KD APHI and Chi O.

Alpha Phi is indisputable top tier and KD is up there too, no way kappa will come on that strong to be a threat right away. A threat to Chi O? Maybe, but I don't think anything more than a few girls who are mad they got dropped from the above houses

Alpha Phi only became (lower) top tier because Kappa got the boot and they went after the ones who would have been Kappas. Before, they were solid mid/upper mid.

no lol they will not be that high right away. at all. they might give zeta some competition on the tier levels since zeta has questionably been rising. like a zeta fuzzy level. upper mid tier

It wasn't too long ago when I read a post saying how fuzzy was under zeta.. it was probs agd sending some hate to the mid tiers bc they're falling but yea do u not remember that whole moment of fuzzy falling a little?

plus zeta just got turned down for rebuilding/renovating the pike (previously aopi) house that they own. and obviously they can't continue in their little house or recruit well in the pike/aopi house, it's just not big or pretty enough for the size of our current sorority chapters.
that said, kappa's house is very modern (kinda erie/cold-dorm like upstairs) but very nice for all the common spaces, with a dance studio and everything.
zeta is going to have a rude awakening when they're not the "new kids on the block" anymore so they're held to the same standards as the other mid tiers like axo, azd, gphi
